SPOT4YOU & SPOT4KIDS provides a full range of adult Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Psychology services, such as assessment, management and therapy for all presenting conditions.

We work with adults across a full range of conditions including:

We provide individual and group therapy options (for example, communication groups and cooking groups), family and carer education programs, and community workshops.

We can discuss options for providing therapy at a significantly lower cost for low-income families.

We are also able to integrate our programs into existing remedial programs in nursing homes and hospitals and work together with staff and carers to ensure our service is complementary to patients’ needs.

  • Occupational Health and Safety — manual handling assessments, risk assessments, development of transfer procedures, staff education and training, workplace ergonomics, seating/wheelchairs/scooters/geriatric chairs, assessments and prescription, falls prevention, Homecare NSW employee/family/carer education

Communication workshops — improving social relationships

SPOT4YOU & SPOT4KIDS offers workshops for staff, carers and families on how to better communicate in an efficient and supportive manner with people who are unable to express themselves or process the speech of others. 

The ability to communicate effectively is essential for living independently, pursuing personal goals and interests, performing social roles and functions, maintaining personal and familial relationships, making decisions, and exercising control over quality of life and care.
