Qualifications

– Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), Swinburne University
– Bachelor of Medical Science/Bachelor of Commerce, Wollongong University

I am currently studying a Master of Speech and Language Therapy at Charles Darwin University.

I enjoy finding ways to extend on each child’s skills using play-based learning. I am passionate about collaborating with children, families, health professionals and teachers to ensure that each child is meeting their goals.

I previously worked in the Early Childhood profession for ten years. Throughout that time, I worked with children with additional needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Global Development Delay (GDD) and speech delays. My experience in the primary school setting has given me the opportunity to work with children with additional needs including Down Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), ASD, and apraxia of speech. My current studies at university are providing me with a range of clinical experiences that range from working with clients from infancy to adulthood.

In my spare time I enjoy caravanning with my family.
