Anger Akec

Occupational Therapist Aide

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University and am due to graduate in February 2024.

I consider myself to be a devoted and compassionate individual on a mission to empower individuals, guiding them towards their highest level of independence and well-being. My passion lies in improving lives through meaningful activities.

In my previous role as a support worker, I had the privilege of collaborating with diverse populations. As part of my current studies, I have had supervised experience in clinical, community and rehabilitation settings. This has allowed me to gain the ability to customise interventions to suit the unique needs of each individual.

Consider me your upbeat ally, bringing an extra dose of positivity and boundless enthusiasm to inspire and motivate you on your journey.

Beyond the therapy, I find joy in capturing life’s moments through a lens and expressing my creativity through painting and drawing. The belief in nurturing the mind, body, and soul extends to my personal activities, whether it’s playing netball, strolling along the beach, or engaging in rejuvenating Pilates sessions.
