I am a mother of six children. Originally from a background in Nursing, I am also an Orofacial Myologist, Certified Health Coach and have worked as a Consumer Advocate within the hospital system. I was awarded the Albert Coates Memorial Scholarship for Academic Excellence in 2019 and the Jessica Bosch Memorial Scholarship for Academic Achievement in 2020.

I am passionate about working with children and adults and helping them to reach their full potential. I have a special interest in Autism studies and Orofacial Myology and believe in holistic, evidence-based, neurodiversity affirming practice.

Orofacial Myology treats orofacial muscular dysfunction. It includes screening and treatment (where appropriate) for a range of conditions including tongue and lip tie (pre-and post-frenectomy therapy), correct tongue function (necessary for sleep, swallowing and speech), feeding difficulties in infants, correcting chewing pattern dysfunction, sleep issues, thumb sucking, mouth breathing and screening for other airway concerns, correcting swallow patterns, reducing facial pain and improving jaw stability. Pre-and post-orthodontic treatment is also offered. Assessment and treatment is available for both paediatric and adults.
