Annie O’Neill

Occupational Therapist Aide

Qualifications

– Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours), University of Queensland

I am looking forward to returning to Allied Health after taking an extended break from Occupational Therapy to look after my two beautiful children. I have a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and have experience working as an Occupational Therapist in Community Adult Mental Health & Aged Care.

Just prior to joining SPOT4YOU & SPOT4KIDS I enjoyed working as a Speech Pathology Aide and supported a diverse group of school aged children within their homes and schools. I worked with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD), Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability and other learning disabilities. This wonderful experience led me back to the very special world of Occupational Therapy and working with kids!

I am interested in applying my Occupational Therapy skills in paediatrics and working with children and their parents/carers to achieve maximum independence as well as assisting them to engage in meaningful activities that enrich their lives.

I am patient, kind, generous, compassionate and get an enormous amount of joy seeing children develop and participate fully in activities they love to do!

In my own time, I enjoy singing in my choir, gardening, trying new restaurants, seeing live music, walking my dog and spending time with family and friends.
