I have a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of Queensland and have experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community both in Australia and the United Kingdom.
After taking a career break whilst having my daughter, I found a passion for working with children. I am excited to be returning to the allied health field as an Occupational Therapy Aide and look forward to using my skills and experience to support children in their development.
I have worked with young people over the age of 18, adults, and clients in aged care settings with a variety of needs, including neurological, mental health, autoimmune, orthopaedic, elderly, palliative care, chronic disease, respiratory conditions and low vision.
I am passionate about people, equality and supporting people to live a life they love and that is meaningful to them. I believe that children are capable of achieving anything that they set their minds to and I am committed to providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed.
I am empathetic, caring, fun and calm. I am also a huge cheerleader in people’s lives and love seeing others live a life that they love living.
Outside of work you will find me playing with my daughter, at the beach with my family, nature walking, doing pilates, writing poetry, shopping for vintage clothes and decor and cooking healthy treats.
