Speech Pathologist Aide

– Bachelor of Arts Contemporary Music, 1997, Southern Cross University

I am currently finishing my first year studying a Master of Speech Pathology at Charles Sturt University. My previous degree in Contemporary music, majoring in voice, led me into a career of performance, teaching and song writing.

My professional experience has encompassed working as a choir conductor and voice teacher at Melbourne’s NMIT, and a singing and percussion teacher to all ages: preschool, primary, high school groups, and adults.

For the past decade I have worked at the Northern Rivers Conservatorium developing and teaching creative music programs in preschools, primary schools and community settings across the Northern Rivers.

I have raised my three children into young adults, have a caring and compassionate nature, and feel very excited to be on a new pathway to deepen my understanding of the voice and communication. I want to make a difference in people’s lives by helping to make communication accessible for everyone.
